Cider from Lukáš
Cider from Lukáš
Lukáš is no longer called anything other than "Tupej Bouchač", which means something like "Dumb Beefcake", and to confirm this nickname, he himself says he likes it because he only hears "Beefcake". Every autumn, he spends entire days in the Vysočina region, climbing trees to harvest old apple varieties, then navigating through the steep terrain until winter sets in—a tough job indeed. We know what we're talking about; Richard spent a few weekends helping him pick apples. He selects only the finest ones and then crafts divine natural ciders from them. No chemicals, no sugar—just apples and hard work.
Oh, and Lukáš's brand is called JoyDa Cidre, and his texts are almost as trashy as what we write.

This blend was created in 2020, a mix of several apple varieties gathered around Lukáš's grandmother's cottage in the Orlické Mountains, as well as in the alleys of the Vysočina region. We were on our knees with Luky in Vysočina, picking the best apples until dusk. Afterward, we spent a long time pressing them into proper juice. The juice rested for three months on coarse lees in a stainless steel barrel, before Luke bottled while it was still in a process of fermentaion. No added sulfur, sugar, or other chemicals, just pure nature. It's a great gently sparkling refreshment and perhaps the biggest cider classic in our range. Consumption Information: Once opened, ideally consume within 14 days. After that, we can't guarantee what will happen (fill in the blank yourself). The bottle contains 0.75 liters with an alcohol content of around 5.5%.Well, this is a whole new level. The juice is half the same as the Red one, but here Lukáš let it ferment on the lees for a whole year, all in an oak barrel. He complemented this with the second juice, which matured for a year in stainless steel. It was made from apples picked in the winter of 2020 in Vysočina, and from our own experience, we almost froze when picking them while wading through the snow. This piece is fully fermented, so don't expect many bubbles. Both juices were blended at bottling, and the result is a strong, fruity, deep, almost spicy taste of our favorite cider. Like with all other pieces, Luky didn't add anything extra to the cider here (no sugar, sulfur, or CO2). Consumption Information: Once opened, ideally consume within 14 days. After that, we can't guarantee what will happen (fill in the blank yourself). The bottle contains 0.75 liters with an alcohol content of around 5.5%.Quiet as a grave, this is the last of the three ciders from the 2020 harvest. A blend of Vysočina apples - this time fermented on lees in stainless steel for a whole year. Fermented to the very end, so no bubbles. Light, fresh, and aromatic with a slightly higher voltage. So, to sum it up - no bubbles, no sugar, no sulfur, and no compromise. Consumption Information: Once opened, ideally consume within 14 days. After that, we can't guarantee what will happen (fill in the blank yourself). The bottle contains 0.75 liters with an alcohol content of around 6%.Is it cider? Is it wine? No, it's piquette. Don't know what that is? Neither did we, but this will change your life. You take freshly pressed Pinot Noir grapes from David Kušický, pour Luky's fresh must from the excellent variety Matčino over them, and let them macerate in stainless steel for two months. The result? The taste of wine and the freshness with the voltage of cider. Sweet, aromatic, and utterly addictive. Bottled "alive," so it lightly sparkles. As always, made without added sugar or sulfur and only from unsprayed apples. Consumption Information: Once opened, ideally consume within 14 days. After that, we can't guarantee what will happen (fill in the blank yourself). The bottle contains 0.75 liters with an alcohol content of around 5%.Regular price
